So yesterday was EPIC!!! Got up at 5AM, just like I usually do, to get ready for school. Woke up Brian at 6....left at 7. Got to school around quarter after. Walked around a while, signed Brian in, then walked around some more. Met with people. Then at first period Brian, Christy, and I went to the library, only to be kicked out about 5 minutes later as nothing was working....so we talked for a while outside the library and then headed in. After going back to study hall...we were told that we needed to call our parents and tell them that we are coming home. All the power had gone out, and it would take too long to fix everything. So we did that, but we weren't going to be released til 9. like 5 minutes before 9, the lights came back on, but we left anyways. We drove to Christy's house to play some Guitar Hero. After Brian left, we played Guitar Hero some more, and then we discussed music and she gave me some Japanese music (sheet music), and we sang until my mom came to pick me up. After that, I watched a movie, took a nap, went to voice lessons, and then hung out with Brian and Andrew for a bit. Then I went to bed...haha. I still can't believe that school was cancelled due to technical difficulties...XD

YOSH! So today is November 1st, thus the first day of National Blog Posting Month. I shall try to keep this going all month haha. So yesterday was Halloween. Didn't have school. So I got to sleep in til 9, which was quite nice. Didn't get to sleep til midnight, so still got nine hours haha. I didn't dress up though. I dressed up the day before though XD I was a celtic priestess, though no one was really close. One said a sorceress, and another said a black mage (she was a white mage XD)

I'm pretty sure the people at the post office and Subway thought I was a freak for dressing up the day before halloween XD
Last night, my friend Brian came in at like 7:35PM...when he was supposed to arrive at....8...I was still on the bus on the way to the airport haha. So we finally found each other after a couple of screw ups. We sat down outside the burger king on the top floor of DIA. We talked a lot about music and musicals and theater and english books, and I tried to do a bit of Mandarin studying...didn't happen haha. Then his friend came in like....a half an hour early too. So we got back on the bus. When we got back, I started driving, almost drove off the road as I couldn't see the lines XD. Came in way too fast on the first toll haha. I think they are scared of me driving now XD. Came back to my house, talked a while, good fun. The just left about 40ish minutes ago for CU, in my car...I'm kinda scared....hahaha
uhmm...I need to write the Beloved essay this weekend. I have decided that I like the book. It is amazingly written, but rather disturbing thematic elements and characters. Yet, my english teacher said that you'll either hate it or love it....so I'm an outlier....and there's the statistics talking -_-;
We have to write our essay on a specific distortion in the book and how it is important. I chose the first part of the four horseman chapter and how the shift in perspective shows that the whites think the blacks are subhuman and incapable of taking care of themselves on their own. If you haven't read the book, then you probably have next to no idea what I'm talking about. You should read it though. If you are underage, you may want to ask your parents if it is okay, as it is very........uhhh...blunt, and it doesn't hide anything, whether it be sex/rape, torture, or anything else. Plus, it is just plain weird...though overall it is a good book.
I also need to write the supplements for the Colorado College application...it's due November 15th. I have all the common app stuff done, but I need those. One of them is to design your own block plan, and I want to do something on researching the history of J-rock and how outside/inside influences affect the musicians nowadays. I think that would be so totally awesome. I also need to finish the supplements for......Mount Holyoke, Smith, and Denison? I'm not quite for sure haha -_-; Plus, I still need to do the whole application for CU...ugh...I don't even really want to go there, but I need a safety school, just in case. I'm practically guaranteed in anyways with my ACT score, which is a 29. Yet, just this year, they changed the application so that we have to write TWO essays. I can't reuse any of my essays either! UGH! Luckily it's only 500 and two hundred and fifty words each. That is nothing. The Beloved essay? At least 7 paragraph....that's probably going to be....a couple thousand easily...-_-;;
Ummm....I can't think of really anything else to write about....I don't have any more updates I think....I might have more by tomorrow, and thus I'll post them tomorrow, as I'm supposed to post once a day, every day, for a month...yay...XP

Alright, So I'm actually almost done with college applications....THANK GOD! (or whoever is up there XD) I submitted my applications for Smith College, Denison University, and I'm almost done with the supplement for Colorado College. So I just need to finish that, and send it and the app in, and then do CU's....I am amazed at myself...hahaha
